New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Okay! Sure thing, I'll ck that out. Meanwhile, the best place for me to find yarn is at Hobby Lobby. They sell a lot of "I love this yarn" brand. Do you have a color pallette for this particular brand of yarn that I could use in one of my graph patterns?
Thank you so much!
Hello everyone. My name is Kristy, I am 39 years old, I have been married to my wonderful husband for almost 16 years and we have two boys, they are 12 and 10. I started crocheting a few years ago, self taught/youtube taught. I love to do blankets mainly, need to venture to other things. I am going to be attempting some C2C graphgan's for Christmas presents so the "wizard" has helped me a lot already. I am looking forward to navigating around this site more to see what else it has to offer. Happy Crocheting!!!
When I make a pattern I usually choose your full color palette, for all the colors it has to choose from. Do you guys sell these colors (looking for yarn) or are they just more like color samples and I have to match them up with yarn I find on my own?

Gloshei,
Welcome! What a wonderful and interesting name
you have!
I'm sure your daughter will love
such a beautiful and thoughtful gift!
In my opinion, I
don't think one necessarily needs to be an expert beader to do a
project like this. Though it definitely does require a LOT of
patience, as it's a super long-term project!
A suggestion I have for starting something so large is
if you'll be using even count peyote, to bead a number of waste
rows before you start your project. The reason I suggest that is to
stabilize the rows so that you'll be able to work from bottom to
top very evenly. I actually do this for small projects, so it
doesn't just work for large ones. Otherwise, I find the bottom rows
of any project can look wonky and unattractive, as I'm just getting
into the correct tension for the beadwork.
Best of luck
and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
Patricia,
Welcome!
I'm sorry to
say the freePatternWizard can't take a finished pattern and turn it
into a chart. All the program can do is make
patterns in word or graph form from original images. I've done some
searches, but have never found anything that takes word charts and
converts them. All of the matches are for programs that will turn
an original image into a chart or word pattern, or tutorials on how
to create your own word pattern.
I'm so
sorry you're having problems with those word charts. Perhaps you
could contact the original designer(s) and ask if there are graphs
available instead of word charts?
